New York Weather in September

Early September enjoys daytime high temperatures in the upper 70's to near 80 F (about 26 C) while near the end of the month the daytime high temperatures are more likely to be near 70f (21C). It's still recommended to have sunscreen during the day, as the sun has the potential to do damage to unprotected skin.

September is one of the most pleasant times of year to travel to New York weather-wise. The average high temperature is 75F (24C) and the average low is 61F (16C). While the beginning of the month, is summer-like, the temperature rarely rises above 90F (32C).

Warm

The average monthly temperature in September is expected to be close to the climatic norm along with a small positive margin in some places, the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology reported.

At nights the temperature will be +18-23˚C. In the afternoons the temperature will be from +24-29˚C, will be +33˚C in some days in the second and third decade. Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 14-38 mm) and a little above the norm in some places

SEPTEMBER. Weather conditions: Breezy, comfortable – My favorite time of year! Clothing: September is the best weather in my opinion because it isn't humid and the temperature is comfortable. I normally wear long pants, a short-sleeve shirt, and have a jacket for the evenings.
